RELEASE OF SALVADOR'S FIRST EP
Four Suffolk school boys, hailing from Ed Sheeran’s home town, broke onto the music scene this March with the release of their debut EP and a sell out headline show.
The eponymous debut was tracked and mixed at Decoy Studios - the base of world-renowned mixer Cenzo Townshend.
Salvador’s guitar-focused sound has been defined through the diverse musical influences of all four band members.
Always slightly veiled in meaning, the songwriting is personal yet easily accessible, but above all…it’s real and it’s full of youth.
Penned by frontman Lucas Evans, ‘Ordinary Love’, ‘Slow Down’, ‘Gum Disease’, ‘Pink’ and ‘Fever’ give a well crafted and articulate insight into the trials and tribulations of life as a teenager today. With soaring melodies, powerful
sonics and dynamic arrangements, the fabric of the music defies the age of the band. Guitarist Jan Ashwell, bassist Felix Church and drummer Jude Machan, make up the rest of the band which has already garnered a reputation for
charismatic, energetic live shows at venues on their local scene.
The lead single ‘Ordinary Love’ launched across streaming services earlier in the month to wide acclaim.
With shows booked further afield, a second single on the cards, and the next record already written, Salvador truly have the world at their feet.
